FAQs + Shipping + Returns

What’s the deal with shipping?

I ship packages through USPS Priority mail within three to four days of receiving an order. If you need it super fast, please email me or make a note during checkout and we can try to work something out. Free local pickup is available within Portland, OR.

Do you accept returns?

Thank you for supporting my work! If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, I will accept returns within one week of your package delivery. If your purchase does not meet your expectations, please email me at vbclaystudio@gmail.com right away so we can get the process started. In every case of a return, the customer will be responsible for return shipping. (Shipping ceramics is extremely expensive, so please take a moment to read the size description carefully.)

If your piece arrives broken, please email me immediately with a photo of the broken piece in its box. I will then refund the cost of the piece, plus shipping if you email the photo within a week of delivery.

*Please note that each piece is handmade and varies in slightly in size, shape and decoration. I hope you can share in my delight of these marks of my hands, as they are evidence of the human that made them.*

Do you ship Internationally?

As of right now, I can ship to the United States and Canada. Please email me if you are interested in shipping to Canada and I will get you a shipping quote.

What are you doing to help save the planet?

What a great question - thank you for asking! Since plastic is the absolute worst, I ship with almost exclusively biodegradable materials. My packaging is slightly more expensive than it’s plastic and styrofoam counterparts, but it’s completely worth it to not be adding to the landfills. If your package arrives nested in packing peanuts, please either let the rain to dissolve them or put them in your compost bin. They are made from cornstarch so they magically dissolve to almost nothing when you add water!

Do you offer wholesale?

I am currently at capacity for wholesale clients, but you can email me at vbclaystudio@gmail.com to be put on the waitlist.
